Creating Constellation Forest in the Encounters sector
A wooden grove creates a space for reflection at Art Basel Hong Kong
Inga Svala Thórsdóttir and Wu Shanzhuan's large-scale installation Constellation Forest (2018) transforms the space into an environment for contemplation and intimacy. The work reflects the creative dialogue between the two artists and invites the public to activate the grove by passing through its many wooden arches. It is a place to reflect, breathe, and momentarily retreat within the fair.
Inga Svala Thórsdóttir and Wu Shanzhuan's Constellation Forest (2018) is presented by Hanart TZ Gallery in the Encounters sector at Art Basel Hong Kong.
