Art Basel Paris unveils further details of its upcoming edition and accompanying city-wide Public Program, including major partnership with Miu Miu
- Art Basel is delighted to announce iconic fashion brand Miu Miu as Public Program Official Partner for its upcoming Paris edition. Miu Miu will stage a special project, titled 'Tales & Tellers', at the Palais d’Iéna in the frame of the program.
- Several storied Parisian sites will welcome freely accessible exhibitions, installations, monumental sculptures, and curatorial projects by prestigious French and international artists, including Jesse Darling, Jean-Charles de Quillacq, Niki de Saint Phalle, Yayoi Kusama, and Thomas Schütte.
- Five new venues, including the Domaine national du Palais-Royal and the Petit Palais, will be added to this year's program, underscoring Art Basel's deep connection with the city and its exceptional cultural heritage.
- Further information on galleries' upcoming presentations across the show's Galeries, Emergence, and Premise sectors, including spotlights on Surrealism and Arte povera, thematic booths, as well as major showcases of Modern and contemporary luminaries, are now available to media representatives as well.
- The show will also host the second iteration of The Art Basel Shop, a novel concept store curated by Sarah Andelman and showcasing a selection of bespoke lifestyle products that celebrate and extend the Art Basel experience. On this occasion, a line of products featuring works in the style of artist collective Claire Fontaine will be available exclusively at the show.
- Oh La La!, Art Basel Paris' new initiative celebrating re-hangings of unexpected or unusual artworks, will bring together 33 galleries, creating a stimulating itinerary across the Grand Palais during the second half of the show week.
- Powering a bustling week of world-class cultural events and exhibitions in the French capital, Art Basel Paris will take place from October 18-20, 2024, with VIP Preview Days on October 16 and 17.
