The 2021 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach is about to kicks off!
Before you hit the Miami Beach Convention Center, familiarize yourself with the 253 galleries participating in the fair – including several newcomers – on our dedicated galleries page. And don’t forget to download the floorplan! Once on site, you’ll be able to experience the fantastic variety of Modern and contemporary art on view in the show’s Galleries, Edition, Nova, Positions, and Survey sectors. Make sure not to miss the Kabinett sector, where galleries showcase curated presentations in a separate section of their booth. Meridians, our new sector dedicated to monumental and immersive artworks, returns as well, curated for the second time by Magalí Arriola, director of Mexico City’s Museo Tamayo.
If you have not done so yet, purchase your ticket here, and dive into Art Basel Stories for a more in-depth look at the show’s protagonists and highlights. To make the best of South Florida’s vibrant cultural landscape, browse our Online Events Calendar, which is full to the brim with exhibitions, openings, guided tours, studio visits, and talks taking place during the show. Further practical information about opening hours, guided tours, visiting with kids, and restaurant options can be found here.
The health and safety of Art Basel's guests is our utmost priority and we will be deploying robust measures to create a safe fair environment. Please consult our COVID-19-related health and security measures in advance to ensure a smooth visit. Learn more here or consult our dedicated FAQ.
Art Basel Live will bring the excitement of the fair to the digital sphere. Our Online Viewing Rooms features hundreds of artworks – some also on show at the fair, others complementing our exhibitors’ displays – and will be accessible to all from Wednesday, December 1, 4pm ET. Starting Wednesday as well, our Conversations program will welcome major artworld figures to discuss the current issues that shape contemporary culture, from NFTs to the politics of representation. All talks will be streamed live on our Facebook page, and on-site access is free of charge and open to all.
Art Basel Live will also take over our social media channels. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, Weibo, and WeChat for exclusive behind-the-scenes content, unboxing videos, and daily tips – and become part of the Art Basel online community with the hashtag #artbasel.
Enjoy the show!
