What is your first memory of Berlin?

BAH: Visiting the grave of singer and songwriter Nico in Grunewald.

SI: Unfortunately, all the Buddy Bear statues all over Berlin. I never liked them.

Where do you feel most at home?

BAH: In my home in Berlin or on mountain top in Norway.

SI: On Sonnenallee or by the Aegean sea.

What is the mark of a true ‘Berliner'?

BAH and SI: Someone who truly does not give a f…. about what others think of them.

Which famous figure best embodies Berlin?

BAH and SI: Alive: nightlife legend Romy Haag or musician Blixa Bargeld.

Your favorite place for breakfast?

BAH and SI: Have the best Manakish at Akroum in Neukölln.

Where are the best boutiques?

BAH and SI: Secondhand stores in Neukölln, like Black Bird Vintage. Or pineapple factory in Mitte.

Who would be on the guest list for your dream dinner party in Berlin?

BAH and SI: Poet Mohammed El-Kurd, actress Indya Moore, and model Hunter Schafer.

Which artwork best represents Berlin?

BAH and SI: We love the Soviet War Memorial in Treptow, it’s outrageously homoerotic and looks like a prop from a sci-fi movie.

What is the craziest thing you’ve ever heard or seen on the streets of Berlin?

BAH and SI: Self-appointed civilian public order officers on bikes reporting people crossing the road when the light is red for instance.

What can you only do in Berlin?

BAH and SI: Skate or hang out on an old airport runway at Tempelhofer Feld.

What do you miss most about Berlin when you are away?

BAH and SI: Home.

Your best advice for those visiting the city?

BAH and SI: Go to the Yemeni restaurant on Karl-Marx-Strasse.
