巴塞爾藝術展推出全新的網上展廳，是為藝廊及收藏家特別創建的數碼買賣平台，將於今年三月正式面世，藉此讓藝廊呈現原本於香港展會展出的藝術作品。網上展廳主要呈現巴塞爾藝術展的參展藝廊作品，以及眾多網上限定作品。收藏家可於網上觀賞作品並直接聯絡藝廊有關購藏事宜。網上展廳將於每次巴塞爾、邁阿密海灘及香港展會舉行期間同步推出。巴塞爾藝術展全球總監Marc Spiegler指出說：「網上展廳將有助藝廊加深與全球觀眾的交流，延續藝術市場最重要也是最根本的元素 &mdash;&mdash; 人與人之間的互動。」網上展廳正是巴塞爾藝術展長期致力於發展數碼技術以培養藝術生態系統的又一貢獻，體現我們積極創新的熱忱。他續說：「藝術市場不斷在發展，我們也在一直探尋新科技，以全新的方式支持參加我們展會的藝廊。」因應香港展會在特發情況下取消，巴塞爾藝術展將邀請所有2020年香港展會的參展藝廊透過網上展廳這個平行的藝術世界，呈現他們精心準備的作品。巴塞爾藝術展亞洲總監黃雅君說：「我們非常高興巴塞爾藝術展首個網上展廳很快會對大家開放。雖然它無法取代2020年巴塞爾藝術展本來在香港舉行的展會，但是我們由衷地希望這能夠為因展會取消而受影響的藝廊提供一次強而有力的支持。」大家可透過巴塞爾藝術展網站和智能手機程式登入網上展廳。更多參展藝廊與藝術作品資訊將在未來幾周公布。
