Intriguing live performances not to miss

Featuring new media artist Masayuki Kawai and sound artist Samson Young

Join us for two special performances: new media artist Masayuki Kawai's live performance and his signature Video Feedback system and ‘Samson Young: Songs for Disaster Relief, Hong Kong in Venice’. See below for details.

Video Feedback by Masayuki Kawai
Friday, March 30 | 4pm to 4:30pm | Theatre 2, HKCEC
Free admission; RSVP essential here

In this live performance, new media artist Masayuki Kawai will create a dynamic experience of electro-magnetic singularity. Sounds and images are improvised from free-flowing data, as dozens of pieces of video equipment connect atypically through analog closed circuits.

Masayuki Kawai in collaboration with Ryota Hamasaki, hosted by Art Basel.

  • For aged six or above
  • WARNING: Strobe lights are used during the performance
