FS:
A pink Rolls-Royce with a pink-dyed poodle inside and the driver in a pink uniform. Only in Hong Kong.
KY:
A million people on the street at once.

What can you only do in Hong Kong?


FS:
Walk safely on any street at any time of the day.
KY:
Within an hour, you can travel from city life to the most scenic hiking trail (walk up to the Peak from Central); or take the Star Ferry from Central and arrive in Kowloon within 5 minutes and see the most beautiful skyline in the world.

What do you miss most about Hong Kong when you are away?

FS:
My dogs and great food.
KY:
BBQ goose.

Your best advice for those just visiting?


FS:
Do the Violet Hill trail across Hong Kong Island; visit the old shops in Sheung Wan; take the Star Ferry ride across the harbor; take the old tram ride on Hong Kong Island; and visit the Peak on a clear evening for the incredible view. And combine that with eating the best Chinese food of all types. Hong Kong has great diversity. It is so much more than a packed city with high-rises.
