Director Adeline Ooi shares her Art Basel in Hong Kong highlights
Ahead of the public opening, get an insight into the show, its galleries, and sectors
Adeline Ooi, Director Asia of Art Basel, sat down for a Facebook live broadcast with insights into the show ahead of the private view. With 248 galleries from all over the world, the content of this year's show is diverse and layered, and reveals the depth of the dialogue between art from the East and West. The Insights sector features 28 galleries from all over Asia, with many art-historical highlights from Korea and Japan. The Discoveries sector presents younger galleries and new art by emerging artists, full of fresh voices. Lively Conversations and Film programs round off the show.
