By entering the show you agree to the <a href="https://www.artbasel.com/miami-beach/ticket-and-entrance-disclaimer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Entrance Disclaimer</a> and <a href="https://www.artbasel.com/miami-beach/articles/rules-for-visitors#89137" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Code of Behavior</a>.

For safety and security reasons, we ask that our visitors comply with the following rules (which remain subject to change).

Rules for Visitors

All visitors and their belongings are subject to a thorough inspection before entering the show premises. Visitors must comply with requests and instructions from the onsite security staff. Failure to do so may result in denial of admittance or removal from the show.

Security Inspection

Only one bag per person is allowed. Smaller bags can be taken into the halls but will be subject to inspection. Backpacks, suitcases, and trolleys of any size are not allowed. Bags, briefcases, and similar items larger than 16&rdquo; x 8&rdquo; x 16&rdquo; (40 x 20 x 40 cm) must be deposited at the Coat &amp; Bag Check. Any items that do not comply with this policy will be prohibited.

Bag Policy

Coat checks are free of charge. Art Basel is not liable for stolen items and/or any items deposited in the coat check areas, or the use of third party solutions, and the use of the coat and bag check services constitutes your consent to the disclosure of any personal information required thereby. Manual wheelchairs and scooters are offered complimentary and available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be picked up at the Coat &amp; Bag Check in the North, West, and East Lobby.

Coat & Bag Check

Backpacks, suitcases, trolleys of any size; large umbrellas and any other items that might cause damage; recreational wheeled devices, motorized or unpowered (e.g., Segway&rsquo;s, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, kickboards, etc.); drones or any other items prohibited elsewhere in these rules or as reasonably determined by show management. Firearms, self-defense and/or any sharp items, destructive devises, explosives, tear gas or pepper spray devices, electric weapons, stun or taser devices, fireworks, or any other dangerous article, except as may be expressly permitted by Florida law, regardless of whether signs prohibiting weapons are posted on any show premises. No outside food or drinks may be brought into the show premises. Food and beverages are only able to be consumed in designated areas of the show.

Prohibited Items in Halls

Mobility aids for people with disabilities (e.g. wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, canes, prosthetic devices and other orthotic devices) are allowed. ADA-compliant personal medical equipment is also allowed.
Manual wheelchairs and scooters are offered complimentary and available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be picked up at the Coat &amp; Bag Check in the North, West and East Lobby.&nbsp;The Miami Beach Convention Center is an&nbsp;<a href="http://www.miamibeachconvention.com/accessibility" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ADA compliant facility</a>. Mobility Aids and Medical Equipment

Cameras no larger than 6" x 5" x 3" (16 cm x 12 cm x 8 cm) in size are permitted. One lens, no more than 80mm in focal length, is permitted. The following are prohibited: medium or large-format cameras, super-zoom or telephoto lenses, flashes, extendable camera devices (e.g. monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, etc.), drones and video recording. Any device that does not comply with this policy will be prohibited.

Camera Policy

&nbsp;
Personal / non-professional and non-commercial use photography is permitted, only if conducted without disruption to the galleries or visitors, and with the safety of the artworks in mind. Extendable camera devices (e.g. monopods, tripods, selfie sticks, etc.) are prohibited. Press and promotional photography and filming are taking place on the premises.
Attendance at the fair implies permission for your image to be used for non-commercial purposes (including media reports). Visitors shall not transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture or reproduction of the halls or premises, or any performance or exhibition therein (live or otherwise), for any commercial purpose whatsoever. Commercial use of geolocation and use of virtual commercial activities at the show (including, without limitation, creation of a virtual facsimile of the show or any part thereof) are also prohibited.

Visitor Photography and Video Policy

&nbsp;
The distribution of flyers and any other marketing materials is subject to authorization. Unauthorized distribution will result in the visitor being asked to leave the fair and removal of all materials.

Marketing Material Distribution

Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the exhibition halls, except for ADA-recognized service animals for visitors with disabilities, provided they are leashed or under similar control. The owner must take full responsibility for their animal. The Miami Beach Convention Center is an ADA compliant facility. Self-Guided Tour Groups

Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources are void. Unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale of a ticket is grounds for cancellation of all admission privileges.
Use of timed entry tickets is not a guaranty to be able to view the entirety of the show.&nbsp; The show will close at its regularly scheduled time regardless of the time posted on a visitor’s ticket. Some entrances to the show may also close and/or be converted to exit-only portals slightly earlier than posted for crowd control purposes and to facilitate an orderly exit and closing of the show.

Visitors must comply with any and all health and safety policies applicable to the show and the Miami Beach Convention Center, as well as federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Health & Safety Policy

Art Basel is dedicated to maintaining a respectful environment and ensuring the enjoyment and protection of the artworks on view. To that end, visitors are not permitted to wear face coverings while attending the exhibition, except for those related to a patron’s health, religion or disability. Art Basel will reasonably accommodate exceptions to this policy if required for one of these reasons. Failure to abide by this policy may result in immediate removal from the exhibition or event. 
Art Basel is committed to upholding all applicable laws ensuring all persons have full and equal access to places of public accommodation without discrimination on the ground of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. Discrimination against patrons or other members of the public is strictly prohibited.

Face Coverings

Please note that some art works or performances may have mature themes or otherwise might not be suitable for children, notwithstanding their intended artistic value. Accompanying adults or guardians should use discretion for children under their care. Galleries voluntarily self-identifying as containing mature content are included on a Mature Content List. Art Kids is available to care for children ages 4-12 during the show. See the “Visiting with Children” section <a href="https://www.artbasel.com/miami-beach/visiting-with-children">here</a>.
Accompanying adults have accepted the <a href="https://www.artbasel.com/miami-beach/ticket-and-entrance-disclaimer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Entrance Disclaimer</a> on behalf of minors in attendance and are responsible for their behavior.

Children

The proper behavior of all guests is very important to us and all visitors are required to comply with the terms and conditions of our Code of Behavior. Failure to abide by the terms of the Code of Behavior may result in removal from the premises.

At our event leading galleries present significant works by Master of Modern and contemporary art, as well as the new generation of merging stars, and you are provided the opportunity to view such artworks in an atmosphere like no other. Our goal is to create a safe environment to enjoy the show, free from judgment, harassment and discrimination. Professional decorum is expected at all times during our event, and lack of decorum, determined at the sole discretion of Art Basel U.S. Corp., is a basis for attendance to be terminated. At Art Basel U.S. Corp.&rsquo;s discretion, future attendance may also be curtailed or denied. Lack of decorum includes, but is not limited to: hate speech, inflammatory statements, fraudulent or misleading conduct, foul language including racial or gender-based slurs, sexual solicitation, unlawful discriminatory conduct, overly aggressive behavior, and slanderous, libelous or defamatory statements. Thank you for understanding and cooperating with our conduct code. We appreciate you being a part of the arts community and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming event.
Anti-Harassment Policy
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for all attendees. We do not tolerate harassment of event attendees, participants, sponsors or organizers from fellow attendees, participants, sponsors, organizers or other parties. Language and imagery that is abusive, violent and/or sexual is not appropriate at any show venues. Harassment includes but is not limited to offensive verbal comments about personal appearance, sexual orientation, gender, disability or religion; intimidation; following or stalking; abusive recording; disruption of events; inappropriate physical contact; and inappropriate attention. Attendees asked to stop behavior deemed as harassment are expected to comply immediately. Those found violating this anti-harassment policy may be expelled from the event without a refund and at the discretion of the show organizers. If you feel that you are being harassed, or notice that someone else is being harassed, during the event, please contact a staff member or show security immediately.

Code of Behavior

The following non-exclusive list may result in immediate removal of a visitor from the premises and/or refusal of admission to future editions of the show:

<li>Failure to comply with these rules or any other rules applicable to the show or posted at the premises</li>
<li>Failure to comply with requests and instructions from the onsite security staff</li>
<li>Any behavior that gives rise to justified complaints from visitors, exhibitors, or others</li>
<li>Any disruptive behavior or unsanctioned acts of performance or protest (including, without limitation, unsanctioned performative art)</li>
<li>Any dangerous or destructive behavior endangering other visitors or artworks</li>
<li>Failure to abide by the Code of Conduct.</li>
</ul>

Removal

By entering the show premises, visitor assumes all risks incident to the show, including but not limited to the risk of lost, stolen, or damaged property, personal injury and death, and visitor further acknowledges all risks involved in attendance, including the risk of injury, death and/or property damage or loss (whether foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown).
