"RESET! Beasts and Demons" merges dance and digital art – where avatars and dancers blend live on stage.

"RESET! Beasts and Demons" is a mesmerizing fusion of dance and digital art. Three strange creatures move through an artificial world. Using a motion capture system, the movements of three dancers are digitized in real time, transforming their bodies into colorful avatars. These virtual doppelgängers navigate fantastical, computer-generated landscapes and interact live with the real dancers.

Camera perspectives and live music (Simone Aubert and POL) create a dynamic interplay between the real and virtual worlds, pushing the boundaries of body and technology. The performance invites the audience to rethink their perception of reality and virtuality.

Gilles Jobin is the recipient of the Swiss Dance Award Grand Prix 2015.
