The gallery represents young artists and those who emerged in the 1960s. We also specialize in works on paper from the 1960s and 1970s. Exhibitions alternate between thematic historical shows and solo exhibitions of works by gallery artists and others such as Wolfgang Laib, Lawrence Weiner, and James Welling.

Our inaugural show in 1997, Critical Images, included works from the 1960s to the present by Acconci, Baldessari, Graham, Huebler, Kosuth, Weiner, Robbins & Becher, et. al. We opened at our present location in October 2000, with Process/Reprocess: Japan and the West, works from the 1950s to the present by Serra, Tuttle, Byars, Klein, Kusama, Ono, Shinohara, Lichtenstein, et.al. 

Gallery artists exhibit at museums and galleries throughout the world. We have placed their works in the collections of MoMA; the Centre Pompidou; the Guggenheim; the Reina Sofia; the Whitney; Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Hirshhorn; SFMOMA; MFA Houston; Art Institute of Chicago; MFA, Boston; the Walker Art Center; FRAC Lorraine, and many other institutions.

We also offer discrete advisory services. Privately, we have placed works by Sol LeWitt, Fred Sandback, Richard Serra, John Chamberlain, Otto Piene, Andy Warhol, Lawrence Weiner, Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, Claude Cahun, and many others.

We publish catalogues and brochures for gallery artists and work with museums and publishers to produce catalogues and books. We also host public events such as panels and book signings.

Since 1998, we have participated at art fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach, The Armory Show; The ADAA Art Show, and others.
