The history of Galeria Raquel Arnaud began in 1973 with the founding of Gabinete de Artes Gráficas, a space dedicated to engravings, drawings, and works on paper. By 1980, the gallery was renamed Gabinete de Arte Raquel Arnaud, specializing in Brazilian contemporary art.
Since its inception, the gallery has occupied a series of architectural landmarks, inhabiting venues designed by masters such as Lina Bo Bardi, Ruy Ohtake, and Felippe Crescenti.
