Ancient tribes tended to worship the sun. The people living in Sichuan of China converted the object of worship to birds. Three thousand and five hundred years ago, those symbols created in protocols reshaped their understanding of the nature. For a long time, people measured time through observing the sun. Not long ago, with the last glance back before leaving the solar system, the Voyager No.1 left us a series of images, namely the “family photo” of the sun and the planets. Regarding the relationship between symbols and things, science is not different from the ancient beliefs. It can be said that humans started modern science with glass, which also implied to modern people the absolute distinction between inside and outside. It helps us to believe that there is no need for artificial distortions, imitation and translation. The quiet and calm nature is just waiting for us to explore. But how can things continue to emerge without the flow of symbols? Have we understood the symbols completely?
