Filmed in Rio de Janeiro at the Maracanã football stadium during an entire championship, Volta turns away from the game to focus on the spectators. Realized with several cameras and produced with the notion that the editing makes the final work, this video concentrates the fourteen games of an entire championship into the culmination of a single goal. Volta is a celebration of color and chaos. It is an investigation of the crowd as a threatening yet flamboyant organism leading towards a breaking point.
