June 13 – 16, 2024
Basel
This year, Art Basel will activate the riverside Hotel Merian, a stone’s throw away from Messe Basel, as a venue for continuous artistic programming. Located at the historic Middle Bridge, the Merian will host a program starting on Tuesday, June 11. The façade of the former Café Spitz will be taken over by When The Sun Goes Away We Paint The Sky, an artwork by Petrit Halijaj, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the partnership between UBS and Art Basel. Evenings will come alive, hosted by distinguished members from both the global and and local art communities.
All access is free, within space limits. Find the full schedule below.
