Aninat Galería, founded in 1982 by Isabel Aninat, a Philosophy and Aesthetics graduate, is an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art and critical reflection. It emerged during Pinochet's dictatorship, when museums were closed, universities were under surveillance, artists were in exile, and contemporary art was deemed suspicious.
