The starting point of González’s series"Zulia Zulia Zulia" are the images of the forced expulsion and deportation –due to tensions between the two countries about the frontier– of hundreds of Colombians who were living in Venezuela. In the hands of González, these human tragedies affecting minority groups are turned into powerful signs which stir up reflections about universal values.
