1. Overview

To view the rooms during VIP hours, you will have to be logged in as a VIP&nbsp;with your Art Basel profile. There are several options to do so:With your email address:<ol> <li>Click on the 'person' icon&nbsp;in the upper right corner of the website.</li><li>Enter your email address and click on ‘next’. Please use the email address to which you receive Art Basel communications.</li><li>If you remember your password, enter it, click on ‘Login’, and start exploring.</li></ol>You can also choose to log in without a password. To do so, select ‘login without password’.<ol> <li>Click ‘request access’ to receive a confirmation code.</li><li>A confirmation code will be sent to your inbox.</li><li>Enter the confirmation code, click on ‘continue’, and start exploring.</li></ol>With the VIP access code you received via newsletter:<ol> <li>Click on ‘Login’&nbsp;in the upper right corner of the website.</li><li>Enter your VIP access code, click ‘continue’, and start exploring.</li></ol>

You can access the Viewing Rooms via the Art Basel website and the Art Basel app.&nbsp; Art Basel website:
	<ul><li>Option 1: Click on the ‘Viewing Rooms’ tab in the main navigation, or click&nbsp;<a href="http://artbasel.com/ovr">this link</a> directly.</li><li>Option 2: Use the search field on the Art Basel home screen to search for a gallery and enter their room directly&nbsp;from the gallery profile.</li></ul>

Customize your search based on personal interests<ul><li>Option to search by rooms</li><li>Option to search by artworks</li><li>Each tab has its own filter and sorting options. You can select artists, time period, geographical focus, presentation type, medium, and cutators picks to&nbsp;refine your search for either option.</li></ul>

<ol><li>Click on the Online Viewing Room of your choice. </li></ol> <ul><li>Option 1: Click on the ‘Browse Artworks’ button to view the presented works.</li><li>Option 2: Scroll down and click on the work of your choice to find out more about it.</li></ul>

<ol><li>Once you clicked on a room, you have the option to move to the previous or next room using the arrows on the top right corner of the web page.</li><li>At the bottom of the room overview, you have the option to visit the gallery's website, join its newsletter mailing list, or contact the gallery.</li><li>You will be able to see the work’s artist, title, date of production, medium, price, as well as a related video, artist biography, and information about the artwork,&nbsp;should the gallery have chosen to upload these materials. </li><li>Arrows on the top right corner of the web page allow you to flip through the artworks featured in the room.</li><li>For more information about an artwork, click on 'Artwork Details'.&nbsp;</li><li>On the artwork page, you also have the option to zoom into the images for a closer look by clicking on the artwork.</li><li>You can add either individual artworks or entire rooms to your collections via the 'Plus' icon appearing in the room and on each work.</li></ol>Should you prefer to browse within the app, proceed as follows:<ol> <li>Click on the Online Viewing Rooms tile on the home screen.</li><li>Select the Online Viewing Room of your choice.</li><li>When entering a room via the app, you will see three tabs: The first tab contains the room’s description. The second tab shows an overview of all artworks in the room. Option 1: Click on ‘Browse Artworks’ to start exploring the room. Option 2: Click on the artwork of your choice on the ‘Artworks Overview’ tab to directly view the selected artwork. The third tab allows you to connect with the gallery via your preferred option.</li><li>You can swipe left and right to see the artworks featured in the room.</li><li>More information about an artwork and additional images (if available) can be found below the artwork’s main image.</li><li>You can also zoom in on the artwork by clicking on the artwork image.</li><li>You can add either individual artworks or entire rooms to your collections via the 'Plus' icon appearing in the room and on each work.</li></ol>

Each individual artwork page features a ‘Sales Inquiry’ button.&nbsp;Should you be interested in purchasing or learning more about the work in question, you can send a sales inquiry as follows:<ol><li>Hover over the artwork image in the room overview or click on the artwork to enter the artwork page.</li><li>Click on the 'Sales Inquiry' button. </li><li>Add your preferred contact method in the list of items that pop up in the sales inquiry window</li><li>A new window will pop up, automatically generating the following information based on your Art Basel profile, which will then be transmitted to the gallery:</li></ol><ul> <li>Name</li><li>Contact Email</li><li>Company and job title (if on file from past fairs)</li><li>Previous VIP invitations from the past fairs and OVRs&nbsp;(if any)</li><li>Text field prompting a message to the gallery</li></ul><ol> <li>You can deselect the respective boxes if you prefer not to share the details listed as ‘Additional Info’.</li><li>Click the ‘Submit’ button to send the message.</li><li>You will receive an automated email in your inbox with the text for reference.</li><li>All communication will now take place via email between you and the gallery, without any further involvement from Art Basel.</li></ol>

A live-chat function is available on the individual rooms’ home screens and on the individual artwork pages.When the ‘live-chat’ icon is green, the galleries are available for live interaction. You may enter and choose how you would like to interact with them: group chat, private chat, or via live video stream. <ul> <li>Message board: allows you to have a conversation with all of those who are in the chat. The conversation will be visible until the end of Online Viewing Rooms.</li><li>Private chat: allows you to engage in a one-on-one, private conversation with a gallery representative, which will not be visible to others.</li></ul>

<ol><li>To add an artwork or a room to your custom collection, click on the 'Plus' icon visible on the room overview and when hovering over each individual artwork.</li><li>Your collections will be accessible when logged in via the 'person' icon on the top right of your page; 'My collections' will appear in the drop-down under the icon.</li><li>You can simply create new collections by clicking 'Create new collection' when adding a work or a room to them.</li><li>Please note that you can add and remove items from your collection as desired.</li></ol>

8. Creating Custom Collections

To share a collection, please proceed as follows:<ol><li>Go to your collections overview via the 'person' icon on the top left of your screen.</li><li>Click on the collection you would like to share.</li><li>On the top left corner of your collection, you will see a 'sharing' icon. You can then chose to share via email, WhatsApp, or direct link.</li></ol>

8a. Sharing Collections

<ol><li>When someone shares their collection with you, you have the option to follow it via the 'Follow' button, visible above the collection's title on the top right of the corner.</li><li>You will now be notified when the collection owner updates it with new items.</li></ol>
